Jordan of Saxony

Today in the Dominican calendar is the memorial of Blessed Jordan of Saxony (c.1190-1237), who succeeded St Dominic as master general of the Dominicans.

Over at Godzdogz, Br Lawrence Lew OP has written an excellent introduction to Bl Jordan's corresponsence with Blessed Diana d'Andalo (a Dominican nun in Bologna).

I'm slowly assembling some extracts from this correspondence on my Enlarging the Heart blog.

Cyril of Alexandria
